Abstract

This article deals with an innovative model for new relational platforms on the web. Underlying the "web 2.0" label is a new set of concepts & practices that enable innovator-users & small businesses using the web to work closely together. We show how this trend has been sustaining & transforming the dynamics of bottom-up innovation & the freeware movement. This article describes two specific areas of innovation that link up a heterogeneous network of innovators: barcamps & co-working spaces.
