The paper analyzes the main aspects of the influence of this type of energy on improving the quality of the environment in scientific research, development and implementation of the latest technologies in the field of renewable and alternative energy sources. Based on the study of foreign experience of state support for the use of solar energy, the team of authors formulated practical proposals for improving the mechanism of environmental protection in the field of energy.
