Abstract
Zakat, Infak and Shodaqoh (ZIS) is an obligation for Muslims to create a sense of justice for others. There are already several institutions that handle ZIS, either directly formed by the state or from the community. Each Zakat institution has already a system used to record the Muzakki (the person giving the Zakat) and Mustahiq (the recipient of Zakat). There are some disadvantages to the current system, namely, first there is a gap against the number of Zakah receipts and Zakat distribution numbers. Second, the data between Zakat institutions that have not been integrated, so, it will be susceptible to have redundant data. Third, Mustahiq data searching process is still veiy limited and seems difficult. Fourth, there are still many Muzakki who give ZIS without going through Zakat institution and the operational cost of ZIS institution is still high. This study contributes to minimize these problems by making a model of Radar Zakat (RAZAR) application using three approaches with case studies in Indonesia. First, an approach involving community collaboration in a local social environment that can actively recommend and review Mustahiq candidates. Second, create an integration model by designing a proxy database by providing Application Program Interface (API) that can be accessed by Zakat management institutions for data exchange. Third, the use of map technology based on Global Positioning System (GPS) with the help of API from Google Maps to show the location of the Mustahiq, so, the ZIS distribution becomes faster
