Abstract

Highlights 2D neuromorphic devices provide a new way to realize versatile neuromorphic computation for perceptual and storage-computing perceptual systems. 2D materials offer innovative and various working mechanisms for synaptic devices. Diversity of energy band arrangements in 2D heterojunctions provides multiple options for the development of novel synaptic devices. 2D optoelectronic neuromorphic devices are particularly suitable for studying visual neuromorphic applications. Constructing high-performance 2D neuromorphic systems is an ideal approach for future AI.
