Abstract
This article aims to analyze the level of competence in ICT and the ICT importance in a representative sample from Sto. Tomás University of Chile. A survey methodology was conducted. The results were that the level of importance, from sample, is higher than their competence level about ICT. on the other hand, lecturers say they have more ICT skills than pedagogical skills.
