Abstract
After having recalled the two main ways of communication (verbal and preverbal), we briefly present the S. Maiello's work about the "sound object" which underlines the specific place of the mother's voice for the fœtus-future-baby. As a matter of fact, the integration of the discontinuity of the mother's voice would prepare the infant's later ability to elaborate the question of the presence and absence of the object. Then, we consider the concepts of verbalisation and of interpretation in the frame of the cure, and also the problem of the therapist's interventions in the field of the jointed parents-baby therapies. Perhaps, it will be the psychoanalytic work with babies which will be able to help us to complete our actual theory of interpretation.
