Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning dan Problem Posing terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa

Abstract

Every student must have problem solving abilities because they are useful for learning mathematics at school. This research aims to determine the differences in the influence of the PBL learning model and problem pose on the mathematical problem solving abilities of students in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang on trigonometry material. The research method used is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques in this study used measurement techniques and indirect communication techniques. The research results show that: 1) there is a significant influence of the problem based learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang with an effect size value of 2.73, 2) there is a significant influence of the problem posing learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang with an effect size value of 2.24, 3) the effect of the PBL learning model is greater than the influence of the problem posing learning model. 4) student motivation is relatively high after the implementation of PBL learning and problem posing. Abstrak: Kemampuan pemecahan masalah harus dimiliki oleh setiap siswa karena berguna bagi pembelajaran matematika di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL dan problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang pada materi trigonometri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengukuran dan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning yang besar secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang dengan nilai effect size yaitu 2,73, 2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem posing yang besar secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang dengan nilai effect size yaitu 2,24, 3) pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL lebih besar dari pengaruh model pembelajaran problem posing. 4) motivasi belajar siswa tergolong tinggi setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran PBL dan problem posing.
