Abstract
This study aims to determine and describe the influence of student agency on students' civic skills in Pancasila Education subjects at SMPN 2 Pesawaran. The research method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Pesawaran in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research sample was 72 respondents with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire as the main technique and observation and interviews as supporting techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an influence of student agency on students' civic skills in Pancasila Education subjects at SMPN 2 Pesawaran with a percentage of 37.9%. Students who have high student agency, characterized by being able to express opinions well and confidently, being able to make choices or decisions, and having control in their learning, tend to have good civic skills such as being able to carry out responsibilities as students, being able to work together actively, and being able to have good communication and interaction with friends and teachers in discussions. Thus, student agency is proven to be one of the important factors that support the formation of civic skills in students.
