Abstract
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects many geriatric patients, but a good quality of life can often be maintained with appropriate care. A description of each disease, disease trajectory, clinical manifestations, palliative management and medical support is discussed in detail, including updated treatment options and information applicable in the care of patients in a home hospice setting.
