Abstract

This nutrition activity to serve PAUD mothers was motivated by some of the mothers of PAUD Cahaya Pelangi Bayumeneng RT 10 RW 04, Gamping, Sleman who still did not know about Stunting and Obesity. Knowledge related to stunting and obesity is very important for parents because it can be used as a milestone to improve or maintain the nutritional status of children. Therefore, this service uses the community empowerment method. This method has been carried out using a lecture technique where the material is explained by the resource person by involving mothers of toddlers. Not only using the lecture technique, the counseling that has been carried out also holds a Pre-test and Post-test to determine the percentage of the known level of maternal knowledge about stunting and obesity. This counseling begins with the provision of Pretest links, lectures on material presentation and is interspersed with direct questions from participants to presenters, after that there is a question and answer discussion between participants and presenters, then a Post-Test link is given to participants. The target to be achieved in this research is to increase the understanding of Stunting and Obesity knowledge for mothers of toddlers. The target has been achieved which can be seen from the percentage of the results of the pre-test and the results of the post-test.
