Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan media PAMITUNG pada pembelajaran matematika, aktivitas siswa menggunakan media PAMITUNG, dan mengetahui hasil belajar matematika pada siswa sesudah menerapkan media PAMITUNG materi keliling dan luas bangun datar. Penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas IV di SDN Lemahputro 1 Sidoarjo sebanyak 15 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, mendapat validasi materi 90% dengan kategori layak, validasi media PAMITUNG 86,25% dengan kategori sangat layak. Sedangkan observasi aktivitas siswa mendapat 87,5% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, dan hasil belajar matematika siswa terjadi peningkatan dari skor rata-rata pretest 57,34 menjadi skor rata-rata posttest 82 setelah menggunakan media PAMITUNG pada peningkatan nilai N-gain 0,578 termasuk kualifikasi sedang. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media PAMITUNG pada pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD   This research has a purpose to determine the feasibility of developing PAMITUNG media in learning mathematics, student activities using PAMITUNG media, and determine the results learning mathematics for student after applying PAMITUNG media for the perimeter and area of flat shapes. This research is the development or Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall models. The subjects of this study were students of class IV at SDN Lemahputro 1 Sidoarjo as many as 15 students. According to the reseach result, 90% of the material was validated in the very feasible category, the PAMITUNG media validation was 86.25% with the very feasible category. While the observation of student activities obtained 87,5% with very good qualifications, and student learning outcomes in mathematics increased from an average pretest score of 57.34 to an average posttest score of 82 after using PAMITUNG media on the increase in the value of N-gain by 0.578 including moderate qualifications. Therefore, it is concluded that the development of PAMITUNG media in mathematics learning can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school.
