Abstract

This article explores the phenomenon of tokenization of real world assets (RWAs) as a key trend in the development of the modern financial ecosystem. The mechanisms of transforming physical and financial assets into digital tokens on the blockchain are analyzed, the advantages and risks of this approach are considered, and up-to-date data on the growth of the RWA market are presented. Research indicates that the market for tokenized assets is demonstrating exponential growth, having reached USD 176 billion in 2024, with projections estimating an increase to USD 16 trillion by 2030 [1,2].
