Abstract
Higher prevalence in summer - 69% - than in winter - 57% In three rural areas of southern Bohemia with high small mammal populations, antibodies were demonstrated in 56.7% of 298 police dogs tested in winter and 69% of 313 (the same dogs and 15 new arrivals) tested in summer. Reactions were mostly at low titre, and mainly for grippotyphosa, sejroe and icterohaemorrhagiae.
