Abstract

A case of bullying in a private high school of Puebla City (Mexico) is studied, where the teaching of philosophy as a subject was not possible. The research question is: How to resolve the problem of bullying in the classroom during the teaching of philosophy in order to achieve the educational purpose of the subject? This study is an participatory action research, which consists of four phases: diagnosis of the causes of bullying, design and implementation of an educational program and evaluation of the obtained results on social change. The research subjects are 18 students aged between 17 and 19 years old. Six different qualitative tools were used. The results show the achievement of the three objectives for resolving bullying: establishment of new social relationship, elimination of prejudices and solving of interpersonal conflicts.
