Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the learning difficulties of external factors in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Mamboro, using a survey of 30 respondents who were selected purposively. The approach used is descriptive and quantitative, with data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed descriptively. Data analysis showed that on average each student of Class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Mamboro had learning difficulties externally of 35.27. Five indicators, namely parenting, study habits in class, class/school conditions, interpersonal relationships, and mental stress contribute to learning by>50%. Two other indicators, namely parental guidance, and family economics contributed <50%. It was concluded that students had learning difficulties caused by factors outside of the students themselves. It is necessary to carry out diagnostic tests and provide guidance counseling for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Mamboro. Keywords: Learning Analysis
