Abstract

This article describes the definition of health, chronological change of preventive medicine, and the definition and general concept of health education, with special reference to the present situation of health education in the fields of school education, industries, and communities. Health promotion is then reviewed with its definition, chronological change, and the evaluation of effectiveness.
