Abstract
A 57-year-old man was referred for implantation of a dual-chamber implantable cardioverter defibrillator as secondary prevention of sudden cardiac death. During implantation, wandless telemetry was used to establish communication with the device. We describe an episode of electrocardiogramelectrogram desynchronization using this novel technology and discuss the possible clinical implications. © 2010 The Author.
