Abstract
Evaluated a training course for senior health assistants in India to determine the degree to which it met their needs for skills and knowledge necessary for mental health care. The Ss included 57 males (aged 30+ yrs). Trainees showed significant gains in knowledge, although areas of difficulty remained. Appendices indicate the content of the study questions.
