Abstract

VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) is developed to fortification the LAN network for single point of failure. But is does not support the load balancing.EVRRP (Enhanced Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) handle this short coming of VRRP. Still there is a need of multi load balancing of different subnet. This paper describes EEVRRP, i:e. Extended Enhanced Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol. EEVRRP support load balancing between two or more segment having multiply-node in network on same cluster of router. This is done by binding VLAN id, VRRP group id on the interface. Also perform the configuration of VRRP, EVRRP, EEVRRP, which never done by any simulation. ©2009 IEEE.
