Abstract
Duplication cysts are a rare group of anomalies that can occur anywhere along the alimentary tract from the mouth to anus. They may be tubular or spherical structures and have been known to contain ectopic mucosa, most commonly gastric mucosa. The presentation of these lesions is highly variable and can result in acute or chronic symptoms. Surgical treatment depends on the site and type of the cyst.
