Abstract

In this paper a 2*1 antenna array with high bandwidth proposed for 5G communication system which is designed on Rogers RT5880(lossy) substrate. The antenna having operating frequency of 37.14 GHz 41.23 GHz with return loss of -36.51dB -24.072dB respectively, Bandwidth achieved 8 GHz which calculated at -10dB. The gains of two resonant frequencies are 9.571dB 7.863dB, directivity of 9.612dBi 7.870dBi, VSWR of 1.0305 1.1337, surface current of 604A/m 540A/m, efficiencies are 99.57% 99.91% respectively. The proposed antenna is simulated by using CST Studio Suite Software. After observing all of these parameters the antenna array can be considered as the suitable option for 5G communication system.
