Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan dapat dilakukan melalui tiga cara, yakni pendidikan formal, pendidikan non formal, dan pendidikan informal. Tanggung jawab pendidikan di dalam keluarga khususnya orang tua termasuk ke dalam pendidikan informal. Untuk melaksanakan pendidikan informal, keluarga memberikan bentuk pengajaran yang akan sangat berpengaruh dalam perkembangan seorang anak berkebutuhan khusus. Oleh karena itu, keluarga harus menyesuaikan pola ajar yang akan diberikan kepada anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan ciri-ciri yang dimiliki, khususnya anak yang terkena buta total, tuli, dan cacat fisik. Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System explains that education can be carried out in three ways, namely formal education, non-formal education, and informal education. Educational responsibilities in the family, especially parents, are included in informal education. To carry out informal education, the family provides a form of teaching that will be very influential in the development of a child with special needs. Therefore, families must adjust the teaching patterns that will be given to children with special needs with their characteristics, especially children who are completely blind, deaf, and physically disabled.
