Abstract

This work describes the species of Leucocoprinus found in Itapuã State Park, Viamão municipality, Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. Six species were found: L. birnbaumii (Corda) Singer, L. brebissonii (Godey) Locq., L. cepistipes (Sowerby) Pat., L. cretaceus (Bull.) Locq., L. fragilissimus (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) Pat. and L. cf. medioflavus (Boud.) Bon. An identification key, detailed descriptions and illustrations of macro and microstructures, and comments on the taxonomy and ecology of the species are presented.
