Abstract

This research is a study that observes a behavior in an organization, the embedded behavior of each employee, the study suspects that there is an influence of motivation and work ethic in influencing performance in the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher motivation and work ethic on teacher performance in schools. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Ciamis. In addition, this research is also to determine the picture of the level of motivation to work, work ethic and teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Ciamis. The explanatory survey method was used in this study and the data collection technique used a questionnaire using 5 scales. The number of respondents used using the population is 51 respondents. The object of this research is the teacher who is located at SMK Negeri 1 Ciamis who will examine the level of motivation, level of work ethic, and level of performance, as well as multiple regression is a data analysis technique in this study. The results in this study indicate that the level of teacher motivation is in the poor category, the level of teacher work ethic is in the poor category, and the level of teacher performance is in the low category. The results of hypothesis testing in this study indicate the effect of motivation and work ethic on teacher performance simultaneously shows significant.
