Abstract

Intermolecular C-O instead of C-C bond formation is achieved with [CpRu(CH 3CN) 3][PF 6] and diimine ligands as catalysts of the decomposition of α-diazo-β-ketoesters in THF leading to original products of 1,3C-H insertion (see scheme). Copyright © 2012 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
