Abstract

Five of the six known species of the Austro‐Malayan trombiculid genus Siseca are parasitic on scincid lizards, while the sixth is confined to pill‐millipedes. The one imperfectly known north Queensland species (S. southcotti Womersley and Audy) is redescribed from Leiolopisma challengeri, while S. vandiemeni sp. n. is described from L. metallicum and L. entrecasteauxi from Tasmania.
