Abstract

This paper discusses four factors that explain t he renewed int erest in t eaching in business schools. However, this renewed int erest has not yet impact ed doct oral programs. Few doct oral programs offer syst emat ic t eacher t raining. The key barrier to such programs is t he lack of a facult y champion wit hin t he school to organize and implement a course. The paper present s three models t hat can help a pot ent ial faculty champion t o incorporat e t eacher t raining int o doctoral programs.
