Abstract

Forensic science is the application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to a legal system. This may be in relation to a crime or a civil action. This book presents current research from across the globe in the study of forensic science, including integrating forensic genetics and geostatistics; forensic perspectives in human pigmentation genes; bloodstain investigations; forensic DNA typing; forensic anthropology study and the cell separation method as a solution for biological mixtures in forensic science. © 2012 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
