Abstract

In this study adenosine, 2 prime - and 3 prime -deoxyadenosine, cytidine, 2 prime -deoxycytidine, guanosine, uridinie, and thymidine were phosphorylated with P//3//m under various experimental conditions, and the reaction products as well as the reaction mechanism were investigated. It is found that the reaction products of adenosine with P//3//m were only 2 prime -AMP, 3 prime -AMP, and 2 prime , 3 prime -cAMP, by comparing their data of anion-exchange chromatography, HPLC, and TLC with those of the authentic samples, as well as by chemical analysis of the reaction products.
