Abstract
In specializing scientific literature in the field of professional preparation of pedagogues, some spaces and scenarios of professional insertion are emerging, which are very different from traditional ones. This paper seeks to make a contribution in this direction, analyzing the role of pedagogue in hospital classrooms. Throughout the article, the presence of pedagogue in these unconventional domains as a vital necessity is justified and it is shown which the functions, tasks and own or professional skills of hospital pedagogues are. Finally, one of the problems of the professional area that requires response from initial training is evidenced, advocating by a qualification that should be more consistent with the work of pedagogue in these exceptional educational fields.
