Abstract
In the artcle. we Niudy the teaching practices in the history Of a group of students in the Teaching Of Social Studies and Civic education Career of The Universidad Naciora, in Costa Rica and we relate them Their initial training. Methodologically we use qualitative analysis through the case study. Among the main results, we find that there are different teaching styles, hut all have as a common denominator that history is presented as a finished and static produr he interpretation and analysis of the past are ignored in classes directed by teachers in training, the contradictions between the discourse of the nrac doners and what happens in the class give us indications about the auricular changes that are allowed to take shape in the teaching carccrs of Social Studies to train autonomous teachers with the ability to critically reflect on their practices.
