Artificial intelligence and human dignity: Challenges for the law

Abstract

The debate we propose revolves around Artificial Intelligence and its relationship with respect for human dignity. The starting point of this debate is based on the notion of nature, in order to investigate how these new technological contributions, especially the area of robotics, impact on the field of rights, freedoms, on our way of life and on the future of the human species. Robotics is currently the object of analysis by the legal sciences, due to the responsibility involved in its use and exploitation.
