PROFILE OF USERS DIAGNOSED WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA OF A CAPS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE OF RONDONIA

Abstract

RESUMO: Este artigo teve o objetivo de caracterizar o perfil dos usuários diagnosticados com esquizofrenia atendidos clinicamente no CAPS I, do município de Rolim de Moura/RO, em 2014. O estudo foi realizado por meio de pesquisa documental, descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa, cujos dados foram coletados por meio de 57 prontuários. Os resultados mostraram que 35% dos usuários eram do gênero masculino e 65%, feminino; 54,5% eram solteiros e 37% encontravam-se na faixa etária entre 30 a 40 anos; 38,5% estudaram apenas até o Ensino Fundamental e a hipótese diagnóstica de maior frequência envolveu os transtornos Esquizofrenia (F20), em 75% dos homens e Transtornos psicóticos agudos e transitórios (F23), em 32,4% do sexo feminino. Os dados encontrados corroboram outros estudos que investigaram as características de usuários com o mesmo transtorno. Concluiu-se que há necessidade de aprimoramento das estratégias e técnicas desenvolvidas no âmbito da prestação de serviços de saúde mental, como a criação de um protocolo padrão que contemple todas as informações necessárias sobre o usuário. SUMMARY: The current research had as objective to characterize the profile of users diagnosed with schizophrenia, who are clinically assisted in CAPS I of the municipality of Rolim de Moura-RO during 2014. The study was performed through a documental descriptive research, with quantitative approach, whose data were collected from 57 medical records. The results showed that 35% of users were male and 65% were female; 54.5% were single, while 37% of them were aged between 30 to 40; 38.5% studied just the elementary school and the most often diagnosis hypothesis involved: Schizophrenia (F20), 75% of male participants and Acute and transient psychotic disorders (F23), in 32.4% of female participants. The found data corroborates with other studies that investigated the users' characteristics with the same disorder. It is concluded that is necessary to improve the strategies and techniques developed for the provision of mental health services, such as the creation of a standard protocol that covers all the necessary information about the user.
