Abstract
This systematic review examines cultural considerations in the assessment and intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It highlights the influence of cultural factors on ASD diagnosis and the variability in assessment practices across different cultures. The review emphasizes the need for culturally adapted intervention strategies and the importance of cultural competence among professionals. It concludes with recommendations for future research, practice enhancements, and policy implications, advocating for inclusive, culturally sensitive approaches in ASD services to ensure equitable care for diverse populations.
