Online professional networking: An effective interactive tool

Abstract

All current evidence indicates that ourpersonal and professional lives are becoming much more dependent on the electronic communication tools as we continue to move forward in the 21st century. Online networking Web sites (i.e., designed for professional purposes) can provide an excellent opportunity for both poultry research-academic centers and the industry to not only achieve their specific short- and long-term goals but have an efficient level of interaction to bridge the existing gap between them. © 2009 Poultry Science Association Inc.
