Abstract

This editorial argues that in times of crisis, the most appropriate expression of caring for educators is the language of compassion rather than academic competence. It further maintained that within moments of crisis, empathy, authentic presence, and mediacy are voices of this language. In times like these, the best way to teach compassion is to live and speak its language.
