New records of Ascomycota in the northwestern Argentinean Yungas

Abstract

We report new records for nine species of ascomycetes from the Yungas of northwestern Argentina. Capronia nigerrima, Capronia pulcherrima and Rosellinia dingleyae are new records for South America. Byssosphaeria rhodomphala, Camarops tubulina, Cercophora ambigua, Chaetosphaerella phaeostroma, Tubeufia cylindrothecia are new species for Argentina, and Togninia minima is a new record for the biome.
