Abstract

Studied the perceptual boundary between "stepping over" and "passing under" for 7 short (163.5 cm high) vs 7 tall (181.6 cm high) undergraduate students. Ss were asked individually to judge whether they would step over or pass under a bar presented in front of them that was varied in height. Judgments were assessed as a function of (1) bar height and (2) bar height to leg length. (English abstract)
