Abstract
To study the function and expression of genes identified in the honeybee genome sequence, techniques for assaying gene expression need to be developed. We present a robust method for preparing honeybee embryos and ovaries for in-situ hybridisation. This protocol should prove useful for researchers wishing to use the genome sequence to study honeybee biology. © INRA/DIB-AGIB/ EDP Sciences, 2005.
