Abstract
Scaling theory of Anderson localization is reviewed. The emphasis is laid on the mathematical aspect of the renormalization group treatment of the problems. The behaviors of the conductivity and the dielectric constant in the vicinity of the metal-insulator transition are mainly discussed within non-interacting electron theory. The recent theories of interacting electrons are also surveyed briefly.
