Abstract

The article explores the initiatives of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) which supports the Partnership for Peace (PfP) Partners in building partner capacity through education. Defense Education Enhancement Programs (DEEPs) conducted by the NATO in its member states are highlighted. The importance of the NATO initiatives in deterring international conflicts in Europe and Eurasia is emphasized.
