Fundamentación de una epistemología en las ciencias sociales

Abstract

El presente art�culo tiene como prop�sito analizar los aportes de la epistemolog�a que se reflejan en la pr�ctica cotidiana de la disciplina de la psicoterapia, tomando como punto de partida dos preguntas, c�mo es el modelo de saber psicoterap�utico, y qu� relaciones mantiene este modelo con las posturas de la epistemolog�a. Para abordar estos planteamientos, se elabora la epistemolog�a de la psicoterapia y se hace una revisi�n de la disciplina de la psicoterapia, incluyendo su objeto de estudio, sus m�todos y los problemas epistemol�gicos m�s significativos. Por �ltimo, y a modo de cierre, se presentan unasr eflexiones sobre el paradigma de la psicoterapia contempor�nea. The goal of this article is to analyze the contributions of epistemology to the daily practice of psychotherapy as as cientific discipline, taking into account two basic questions: how is the psycho therapeutic model constructed, and what types of relationships do this model have with epistemological postures. To focus on these issues, an epistemology of psychotherapy is elaborated and are view of psychotherapy as a scientific field is undertaken, including its object of study, its methods and its most significant epistemological problems. Lastly, certain reflections are presented as to the issues that confront contemporary psychotherapy.
