Abstract

The regulation and functions of mammalian mitogen activated protein (MAP) kinases were studied. Various issues related to MAP kinases including control of localization, protein complexes and interactions with nuclear receptors were discussed. The disruption of a gene encoding and orphan MAP kinases like ERK3, ERK7, NLK and MOK were also described.
