Abstract

(Chemical presented) Synthetic methods for the construction of the 4(3H)-quinazolinone 1 and quinazoline 2 skeletons, with a particular emphasis on the 2-substituted and 2,4-disubstituted analogues, are reviewed. The report contains 127 references. © 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
