Abstract
Among Latin American countries Mexico is the sole country self‐sufficient in food or, more accurately, who exports her agricultural surpluses. The historical key to this secret, and further to the secret of her industrial growth, may be found in the role played by the Land Reform. In this article the author reviews Mexico's development after the Mexican Revolution and clarifies the process from Land Reform to Industrial Revolution. Copyright © 1969, Wiley Blackwell.
