Implementasi Model Pembelajaran TTW Berbantuan Media Cerpen dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang dilakukan dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik yang menemukan hambatan berupa kesulitan dalam mengembangkan ide saat menulis puisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi dan hasil pembelajaran menulis puisi dengan menggunakan model TTW (Think, Talk, Write) berbantuan media cerpen. Jenis pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif (PTKK) yang disesuaikan dengan tahapan pada kegiatan lesson study. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua kali siklus pembelajaran di kelas dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa pengamatan atau observasi dan dokumentasi hasil pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 28 peserta didik kelas VIII-F SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis puisi peserta didik dari dua siklus pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Hasil rata-rata yang diperoleh pada siklus I adalah 62, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 87,5 . Data tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran yang lebih baik dari peserta didik. The aim of this research is an effort to improve poetry writing skills and learning outcomes for writing poetry using the TTW (Think, Talk, Write) model assisted by short story media. The type of this research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTKK) which is adapted to the stages of lesson study activities. The research was carried out in two classroom learning cycles using data collection techniques in the form of observations and documentation of learning results. The research subjects were 28 students in class VIII-F of SMP Negeri 34 Surabaya. The results of the research conducted showed that students' poetry writing skills from the two learning cycles experienced a significant improvement. The average result obtained in cycle I was 62, while in cycle II it reached 87.5. This data shows an increase in better learning outcomes for students.
