Perú: Estado-Nación y sociedad multicultural

Abstract

Analizar histórica y culturalmente el modelo político de Estado-Nación, su aplicación en América Latina y concretamente en el Perú, considerando todas sus repercusiones, constituye el objetiuvo central de este artículo. Cómo asumir la realidad de la multiculturalidad de nuestras sociedades, en diferentes dominios como la educación y la gestión de la rica biodiversidad y la diversidad cultural, es la pregunta que tratamos de respondernos, planteando desde la perpspectiva intercultural diferentes interrogantes que cuestionan la visión monocultural de las politicas governamentales, hasta las proposiciones de refundación de otro Estado, capaz de asumir la realidad ecológica, social, política y cultural de nuestro continente. The goal of this article is to analyse the history and the culture of the political model of the State Nation and its aplication in Latin America, especially in Peru. How to take the reality of multiculturalism in our societies, in different domains such as education and management of the biodiversity and cultural diversity is the question that we try to respond. By using the intercultural perspective, we will try to answer some questions that challenge the monocultural vision of governamental policies, proposals to the refoundation of the State that are capable of taking the ecological, social, political and cultural reality of our continent.
