Abstract

The vocationalisation of the higher education in France has been developed these last decades with the objective to improve the employability of the young graduates in a context of their worsening working conditions. Using the three Céreq's Generation surveys, this analysis focuses on the relative performance of these vocational programmes compared to the more academic ones of the higher education in a period of economical crisis. Our results show that certain courses, as for example the vocational bachelor diplomas, always guarantee good working conditions, the effects concerning the social mobility at the beginning of their career are more moderate. © Tous droits réservés.
