Abstract

The third-order bifurcation behavior of nonlinear plasma in resistive pressure-gradient-driven turbulence is analyzed with respect to the aspect ratio of the fluid. Parameter dependencies of the generated transport barriers and third-order bifurcations are discussed numerically and analytically. Galerkin approximation is used to clarify the codimension-1 bifurcation characteristics considering aspect ratio. Numerical simulations confirm the analyses.
