Abstract

Economic development must occur alongside environmental sustainability. The circular economy (CE) in an industrial context is a critical area that has been widely studied. However, the scope of the CE is broad and involves the development of various fields, ranging from energy and production to digitalization. The areas targeted for CE development also vary according to the stage of economic development. This study fo-cuses on identifying the potential for CE development from the perspective of developing economies by using patent and bibliometric analyses.
